The 5 Minute Journal

The 5 Minute Journal is an exercise in gratefulness and appreciation. It's a way to remind yourself of the good things in your life that are often hidden behind the stressful and annoying bad things.

It's fairly common for people to quickly forget the good things that happen in their lives and to instead focus mostly on the negative. It's human nature to an extent. But the problem with that is that it can lead to a skewed world view that ends up being counterproductive to actually making the positive changes that need to happen in order to eliminate the negative things in the first place

Enter the 5 Minute Journal. Like brushing your teeth for your mind, it's an exercise you perform twice a day, in the morning after waking and at night just before bed.
