Some of you have seen the video below before, for others this is the first viewing. Either way, be nice.
Today's workout was originally released all the way back in 2009 (before the Open was even a thing) as part of a group of video submitted workouts that served as qualifiers for the CrossFit Games. This was my attempt.
I'm posting this to remind you all that every one of you is somewhere on your fitness journey - you might be just beginning, you might be 2 years in like I was when this was filmed or you might be beyond that. All of us are working to improve and it's important to know that we have all come from somewhere.
So new folks, don't forget that all the other people you see in the gym have been doing this longer than you. That's why they might make things look lighter, faster or easier. They've had the benefit of many many more workouts.
Veterans, remember what it was like to be new to CrossFit? Remember how every class you showed up for was filled with things you'd never done or seen before?
Everyone, enjoy the process. Know that you'll get better. You'll get stronger, faster and more efficient. All you have to do is keep showing up.
